Ah.... one of my wondering sessions. again. who has ever wondered what humans could do if we had wings? i sit here at my desk flexing my shoulder and arms, picturing what a sight it would be if i could fly. The sheer joy. The Ecstacy. The passion for weightlessness as my wings beat effortlessly. When i looked at my first science book. i was about 7. i saw the human skeleton and pondered at our shoulder blades. Then i came to a conclusion that humans at some point of time had wings. That escalated into a full scale discussion of why am i flightless now. Did God take them away because we flew too high? Did the other Gods glow green with envy that we could fly like them? Many questions. most of the answered when i came of age. Now. i believe, that there are No Gods. or God. for that matter. thats what i am. a simple atheist. free-thinker. and yet i still wonder about our wings. No matter. I'll carry on thinking. and i'll tell you when i have an answer. Take Flight. *Jumps out of window and spreads wings* POSTED AT 11:20 AM |
