Today i came up to the front of the class and i started quaking. my knees went weak, my fingers started to tremble. i started my speech. Purpose. *pause* I FORGOT WHAT I WANTED TO SAY. then, like a rush, it came like a torrent of information which rushed my brain. ARGhhh. carry on. Mr Liew, What is your purpose in life? my purpose was to help people and be helped in return. *stall* (my god. i didn't know what to say.) ummm, and if this purpose was taken from you, what would happen to you? I would become a harder man, more heartless and less tolerant to people.*SCREAMS IN MY MIND* ok.... well, i interviewed some of my friends and they said that they would have nothing to love or live for. and....*pauses, knowing that my presentation was ill-prepared* *exhale* in conclusion, i think that everyone should have a purpose in life. if they don't, they should get one. thank you. *walks away with head down, knowing that my chances of passing are minimal.* my presentation sucked. and i knew it. Mr Liew called the next person with a wicked smirk on his face. My day has ended. *Sighhhh*
